Medical Assistant for

a dermatology career

. The ideal Medical Assistant candidate is positive, energetic, intelligent, highly dependable, organized, and can multitask. Our team members are responsible for assisting the Provider with patient visits, including consultations and procedures, through the following responsibilities: Your Responsibilities: Prepare examination rooms for each appointment, ensuring cleanliness, and stock them with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies. Engage and focus on the patient experience. Responsible for gathering patient information, informed consent, and payment information Assist the physician with minor procedures, patient charting, uploading imaging, and scheduling patient follow-up appointments. Provide detailed post-care instructions to the patient and/or family members. Accurately complete pathology and laboratory requisitions as required Complete logs and send specimens to the laboratory Perform other tasks and duties as directed

Experience and Education: 2 years of combined education/experience as a substitute for minimum experience Medical Assistant (MA) Certification, CPR, and First Aid Certification are preferred Hands-on experience in a clinical setting Experience with EMR Dermatology or surgical experience is preferred. POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK Full-Time Monday-Thursday 7a-4p Friday 7a-12p We offer competitive salaries and benefits
